Frederik L. Schodt (AKA "Fred," or "Moi") is an American translator, conference interpreter, and award-winning writer in the San Francisco Bay Area. He specializes mainly in currents of thought flowing between Japan and North America. His latest book, My Heart Sutra: A World in 260 Characters, is published by Stone Bridge Press, of Berkeley, California.
